Started in 2006, Dozen Bakeshop transformed from a little cupcake shop to a full service bakery and cafe with 2 locations: Lower Lawrenceville near the Strip, and Oakland near the Carnegie Museum. Our small team of talented bakers and pastry chefs work around the clock making from-scratch desserts in small batches for the people in our neighborhoods and beyond. We use local suppliers as much as possible and try to engage in environmentally-friendly practices.

Dozen Bake Shop has been recognized as Pittsburgh's best bakery for the city's best desserts in Pittsburgh City Paper, Pittsburgh Magazine, & others, with national recognition in Forbes, MSN.com and more. We specialize in vegan treats and sugar-free desserts upon request. We also cater, create wedding cakes & cupcake tiers and offer our dessert food truck for any event big or small.
